Welcome to the Goldstone Church

Welcome to the Goldstone Church website. We started meeting as a Christian church in the Goldstone School in September 1991. A number of people had been sent by the local Anglican church, Bishop Hannington, to start a fresh work in the Moyne Close/Elm Drive area of Hove. There was little Christian activity in the area and so it was a good opportunity to ‘plant’ a new church there.

Today we are still linked to Bishop Hannington but have our own Elders and Leadership Team who oversee the work. We are a group of Christians from many different walks of life and from varying backgrounds. Our aim is to know God better and to see Jesus revealed in our lives. A church should be about people rather than buildings and we see ourselves as an extended family who are always ready to welcome new people. Around 50 people meet together each Sunday but we aim to support, encourage and grow together all through the week.
